Techniques like nudges, default settings (e.g. renewable energy as the default), social-norm messaging, and framing choices in immediate personal benefits help translate intention into real action.
What matters most is designing systems that make sustainable behaviors easier, visible, routine—and emotionally resonant—so that people don’t just care, they act.
