Description

When I first jumped into Battlefield 6’s RedSec mode, I honestly had no idea how important Vehicle Keycards were. Everyone was rushing across Fort Lyndon, explosions in every direction, and I just wanted to survive long enough to get my bearings. Then, a teammate mentioned something about unlocking Vehicle Trailers. That’s when my obsession began.

Getting a Vehicle Keycard isn’t as easy as it sounds. You can’t just pick one up lying around; you actually need to complete missions to earn them. At first, I thought it was like any side quest in other shooters—just extra XP and loot. But no, these missions are your gateway to some of the most powerful vehicles in RedSec. The trick is, not all missions reward Keycards. So, I spent a good twenty minutes completing objectives, hacking terminals, and eliminating rival squads, only to get random weapon mods instead of what I was after.

Finally, I found a mission that showed the Vehicle Keycard icon as its reward. My squad and I pushed hard to complete it. We had to defend a comms tower for several minutes while two enemy teams tried to rush us. The tension was incredible. When the mission completed and that “Mission Reward Drop” marker appeared on the map, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. Inside the crate—there it was—the Keycard.

Unlocking a Vehicle Trailer with it felt like opening a treasure chest. I found one on the north side of Fort Lyndon, near the industrial area. I approached the trailer, used the Keycard, and out came a fully armed IFV. The feeling of power was indescribable. We rolled into battle, cutting through enemies like a storm. Later, I realised that opening trailers is also part of the Battle Royale Specialist Challenge 1—open three trailers and score fifteen vehicle kills to unlock the United Albion skin. I was already one step closer without even knowing it.

RedSec has its fair share of chaos, but moments like this—earning your rewards, taking risks, and rolling out in heavy armor—are what make Battlefield 6 feel so alive. Every match is unpredictable, and every Keycard feels earned. You can learn more now from u4gm.com.
