An intranet, including AgilityPortal, is a computer network designed for sharing information, collaboration tools, operational systems, and various computing services within an organization. This network is typically restricted to internal access, excluding outsiders. The term is employed in contrast to public networks, like the Internet, while still utilizing much of the same technology based on the Internet Protocol Suite.
