The end-game in Last Epoch truly begins in the Monolith of Fate, a sprawling alternate timeline system that offers endless progression, challenging encounters, and, most importantly, powerful permanent bonuses known as Blessings. These aren't just minor buffs; Monolith Blessings are crucial for optimizing your build, shoring up defensive weaknesses, and significantly enhancing your farming efficiency, even impacting the rate at which you acquire valuable resources like Last Epoch Gold.

How to Obtain Blessings
The process is straightforward:

Enter a Monolith Timeline: Start with the "Normal" timelines, such as The Last Ruin, Fall of the Outcasts, or The Blood Frost and Death.
Complete Echoes: Navigate through the timeline by completing various Echoes (missions).
Reach the Final Boss: Progress until you unlock and defeat the timeline's unique final boss.
Choose Your Blessing: Upon defeating the boss, a reward screen will appear, presenting you with three random Blessings specific to that timeline. Select the one that best suits your needs.
To obtain "Grand Blessings," which are significantly more powerful versions, you must complete timelines within the Empowered Monoliths. These are unlocked after completing the three level 90 Normal Monoliths and offer increased difficulty, better rewards, and the chance for these superior Blessings.

Specific Item Drop Blessings:

Certain timelines offer Blessings that increase the chance of specific Unique or Set Items dropping from any source (e.g., Grand Call of the Mountains for Unique Rings, Grand Vision of the Aurora for Unique Swords). These are highly targeted and can save you countless hours of farming for specific build-enabling items.

Strategic Prioritization: Which Blessings to Choose?
The "best" Blessing always depends on your current build, its deficiencies, and your farming goals.

Early Endgame (Normal Monoliths): Concentrate primarily on Defensive Blessings. Achieving a resistance cap of 75% is essential for survival. Blessings that provide All Resistances (such as those from The Fall of the Outcasts) or specific resistances that you may be lacking are crucial. Additionally, Health and Ward Retention are also significant options.

Mid to Late Endgame (Empowered Monoliths):

Build Optimization: After establishing solid defenses, shift your focus to Offensive Blessings that enhance your main damage skills (for instance, Crit Chance/Multi, or particular damage types).

Farming Efficiency: For those who are dedicated to farming, Blessings that enhance Item Rarity and Item Quantity (from timelines like The Black Sun or The Reign of Dragons) become essential. These directly lead to increased loot, better chances for rare items, and additional crafting materials.

Economy Boost: If you often find yourself short on currency, Blessings that enhance Last Epoch Gold drops, such as the Grand Ardentweave Gold from the Spirit of Fire timeline, can create a reliable income source, enabling you to support costly crafting endeavors or profitable trades within the Merchant's Guild.

Targeted Drops: If you are pursuing a specific Unique or Set Item, consider Blessings that elevate their drop rate, as this can significantly shorten your farming duration.

Managing and Changing Blessings: You may only have one Blessing active per timeline. For instance, you cannot have two different Blessings from the "The Fall of the Outcasts" timeline simultaneously. However, you can possess a Blessing from "The Fall of the Outcasts," another from "The Black Sun," and a third from "The Reign of Dragons," and so forth, allowing for one Blessing from each completed timeline.

To change a Blessing you've already acquired from a timeline, simply re-run that timeline and defeat its final boss again. You'll once again be presented with three random options, allowing you to choose a different Blessing or even a better roll of the same Blessing if you're lucky. Many players will repeatedly run Empowered Monolith bosses to acquire the best possible "Grand" roll for their desired Blessing.

Monolith Blessings are a cornerstone of Last Epoch's end-game progression. They offer powerful, permanent augmentations that can significantly impact your character's performance, resilience, and wealth generation. By understanding the different types of Blessings, strategically prioritizing them based on your build's needs and farming goals, and leveraging the ability to re-roll for better outcomes, you can truly unlock the full potential of your character and streamline your journey through Eterra, ensuring you're always well-equipped and, perhaps, even sitting on a tidy pile of Last Epoch Gold.
