When the PIN is forgotten, blocked, or suspected to be compromised, users must reset it immediately through a trusted UPI-enabled app. In most apps, resetting a UPI PIN requires either debit card details or Aadhaar-based OTP verification, depending on the bank and app support. Google Pay officially states that users need debit card or Aadhaar card details to reset a UPI PIN.
